Q: I am a new business owner and need to network. Does anyone know of a networking group for women in the Atlanta area? What about online networking?
A: There are several. Here is a link to a list of about 20 Womens business netrworking groups in metro Atlanta with contact info including American Business Women's Assn. and Atlanta Women in Business. http://www.atlantaevent.com/womengroups.htm You will also find some of the LEADS groups are all women. Many of the LEADS groups however only take one person from each kind of business which in a way is good and in a way is not so good because even similar businesses can work together and promote each other. Mixed groups like Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis can be very useful too.
