Q: I would perfer a waitressing job , if anyone knows of somewhere hiring let me know! iv looked on craigslist and everywhere i cant find anything um i wouldnt be posting on yahoo answers if i hadnt gotten off my ass to go look for a job as i have said "i have looked in everywhere"

A: Have you tried the Atlanta Journal Constitution want ads? That's usually the best place. The Henry Daily Herald would be another very good place. There is one ad for a restaurant needing help for all positions in the currect classifieds there. Other days there may be more. Most employers still do not go to the net as a primary place top look for workers. Many eating places hire without a lot of ads because people walk in and apply. So make a list of the ones near you and go see the manager at off peak hours. If you don't have a resume just make a neat list of any places you have worked (any kind of work even babysitting) when you were there the boss' name the address and phone so you have it handy to help you fill out the applications. Appearance counts a lot so be neat and clean and avoid anything that might seriously turn off a customer like node rings or studs or eyebrow rings If you have these just slip them out you can put them back when you are not working. Be somewhat conservative in dress and make up. Not frumpy but not too wild unless of course you are headed for a totally wild place to apply. Meanwhile till you get the job you want take pretty much any job you can get. Try McDonald's, BK, Wendy's,Waffel House,WalMart,A telemarketing place. That will give you some money and some work experience but even more it will give you an advantage in getting a better job because most employers prefer to hire ppl who are working somewhere else.
