Q: I just moved to Boston, new from College. I am not used to not being around a lot of people my age. Is there anywhere online or in person where you meet friends?
A: Bars are one of the worst places to meet people. The best way to meet new people is to find something that interests you and pursue it. For example, take a class in something that interests you, e.g. a foreign language, or something fun and creative. The Cambridge Center for Adult Education is a great place to check out. Or volunteer for a political group or other organization that interests you. Good luck!
