Q: the co. closed down in az. without any warning
A: Shortly after KK went public the company went wild with expansion and misread some of its competition(Starbucks/Dunkin' Donuts) in markets they have never been in before(Northeast). They still have a huge presence and are still expanding but they were internally misrepresenting their accounting and have had some difficulties in that area which put a huge damper on its stock price and has led to its difficulty finding its correct footing in the marketplace. Wonderful product with a flawed business strategy and questionable mgt has been the story at KK...........Now if Dunkin Donuts served KK donut products you'd have a killer combination because DD's donuts are marginal at best.
