Q: Hi there, am looking for apartment/condos in burlington for a month. Does anyone know how much it will cost? any leads will be appreciated. Also, is there any problem if am not a resident of US? warm regards, Gyaan Guru
A: Well, most apartment complexes and condos won't do monthly leases. The usual term is by the year. Maybe what you should be looking at are apartments in homes. A homeowner looking to rent an apartment might be more likely to do a month to month lease. Secondly, complexes and condos do credit checks. I don't think that not being a US citizen would matter, but I don't know that for a fact. Renting an apartment from a homeowner would mean no credit check and no problem if you aren't a resident. Good luck.
