Can anyone recommend a recording studio in Boston?

Q: I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a quality recording studio in the Boston area. It doesn't have to be anything too big, just a quality space where we can record good music, with great acoustics. I'm new to this whole thing and I don't know much. Our budget is not big, kind of limited, but I also want a good idea of what to expect and what the different places are out there (from the cheap to not so cheap, but again quality regardless of price and not too too expensive). Thank you!

A: Mix One Studio on Boylston St Boston is good. Its right in the Fenway area. My husband who is a musician has recorded there on several occasions. If he were home (he's gigging right now) I would ask him about others because I know he has been to several in the area. In addition, my mother, who is a local business owner has recorded her radio spots there for years and years. Professional staff. However, I do not know about their fees but at least its a start for you.
