Q: I've been searching for over a month with no luck but I have a bachelors degree & am qualified for many customer service, office manager or education (not within the public school district tho)positions. any suggestions?
A: Have you tried any temporary agencies? http://local.yahoo.com/CA/Los+Angeles/Professional+Services/Employment/Temporary+Employment+Agencies;_ylc=X3oDMTFoajI3aWRiBF9TAzk3NjcyMDI1BF9zAzk2NjEzNzY3BHNlYwNQcm9mZXNzaW9uYWwgU2VydmljZXM- is a link to a yahoo yellow pages search result. I was employed by First Call, they had local offices in my neighborhood. A phone book search can help guide you to offices closer to your neighborhood. A lot of the jobs were still in Downtown but for a lot of jobs the pay was great and I did get offers for permanent positions. Give them a try - it's what they do, find work for you.
