Q: SO I need cash w/o applying for a real job due to lack of time+interest. I need a job that is flexible that I can do as I please. I am considering posting flyers in the rich part of my neighborhood (I don't want to be working in the ghetto, I live in NYC so those who live in NYC would understand how this neighborhood thing works) with my friend at a rate of 10$ per hour. Do people still post flyers for babysititng jobs etc.? I haven't seen many in quite a while since I was a kid myself. Is this a good idea to make quick cash? Would you yourself trust a flyer looking for work as a babysitter? So far, I will post on the flyer that I am a 4.0 GPA college student who is able to babysit/tutor in certain subjects as well as do garden work. I am also CPR certified. Good idea or no? I will also only post up an e-mail on the flyer because any other information would be too risky in my opinion.
A: Hello, I am a 12 year old babysitter, but I have lots of experience. Babysitting is great for making money and its fun. People will call if you have a nice flyer, also try word of mouth, that is best. Here are my ways to advertise: Here are some ways to find babysitting jobs. What I did was put up a flyer in the grcoeery and store and you can also do it anywhere with a bulletin board. Also, give flyers to people you know with kids. word of mouth is the best. Ask your parents to help you find jobs. Also try craigslist. A great place with lots of people are at your temple or church. Parents also go to the park and you can hand them flyers. Good luck.
