Q: What is a good summer job for a 14 year old? Im looking for a job for a few weeks at the end of August. i live in NYC so i can't mow lawns and stuff like that. I am totally open to babysitting but nobody wants to hire a 14 year old! I have a brother with severe autism so i can deff. work with special needs kids. If anybody reading this needs a babysitter, let me know!! I'm really open to any ideas. If anybody reading this has a buisness i can totally be an intern too! I'm smart and i'm a quick learner. I also need community service so anyone who needs a helper of any kind... let me know! Seriously...i will do anything.
A: look up junior camp counselor or Mentor online. when i was 14, i used to work as a junior camp counselor in many camp sites, schools, colleges and universities. i strongly recommend it, you gain experience, get to work with children and depending on where you work often do things that you dont normally do, like rock climbing, hiking, or camping. Look into universities like columbia or St.Johns, they usually run these programs.
