what can i do?(for new york city citizens)?

Q: I moved from brooklyn to huntington(suffolk) and i just entered a new high school, i been thinking and now i realize that going to my old high school would be way better than going to a high school here in huntington (for academical reason) however that would mean to travel 80 miles a day in the long island railroad, i have absolutely no problem doing that in a regular basis but i don't know how much would that cost me, so do schools in brooklyn give u like a metro card to get free rides from monday through friday in the LIRR or u have to pay to yourself? any help would be extremely helpful and thank you

A: Check with the school for most accurate answer.
