Q: I'll be 16 in february it's just i need a job. i'm really mature for my age always have been. I'm quite the individual and i am very trustworthy, it's just that age poses as quite a setback.
A: Yes, unless the company or library has a policy of only hiring individuals over a certain age. The libraries in my area hire high school kids for part time jobs. Check with your school to see if it has a work study program. If it does, they should be able to give you some leads for office jobs. Also check with temp agencies in your area and you may also want to check the part time job listings in craigslist.org If those don't work out, don't avoid retail, restaurant, or other more typical teenage work places. You can gain a lot of useful experience at most any job.
