If so, I went there several months ago and they gave me a song & dance how they couldn't help me becuase i have flat corneas. Filutowski office said they have technology that CAN help me, no big deal about my flat corneas and they don't know why Robin's office said that. Any imput from you? Please advise me. Thanks so much. A: I've heard they were very expensive compared to others. I had mine done at the Lasik Vision Institute in Altamonte. I got the very basic $299 per eye special about 2 years ago and I've been thrilled with the results - 20/20 vision and no problems whatsoever. They have 'upgrades' also, which of course cost more (which they definitely tried to talk me into), but I'll bet they still cost way less than any quote you got from Filutowski. My husband had his done at LVI a couple of years before I did, and he's been pleased with the results also. Keep in mind that great advances have taken place with these surgeries in the last 10 years, and you don't have to go to the most expensive place to get a good result.
