can you belicve this, my cable service provider?

Q: Listen to this: I ordered cable 3 weeks ago. No big deal cuz I already have internet service throught them and all I wanted was, 1 digital box and 2 tv's with standard cable. well, no big deal i thought! I waited 2 1/2 hrs. for the cableman the 1st time for him to tell me since my bf called and I'm not on the account, he cant do it without a letter from him(they never mentioned this on the phone, just said have someone there over 18!). So, rescheduled, got the letter cuz bf has to work and cant be here. 2nd time cableman comes out, nope I need a copy of bf's id also or your name on the account! So, rescheduled, got my name on the account, got the letter from bf, nope, need a letter from landlord cuz need to drill another hole(there is already a hole in each room! So, rescheduled 3rd time cableman comes out, got the letter, got my name on the account got the letter from the landlord, nope need a copy of landlords id! WTF! so he split the cable from my internet and hooked the box in my room. so still no cable in the living room and other bedroom. called them back this morning: Oh, it's $117 to run 2 connections...i was never told this either!!!! was told to reschedule for a 4th time and see if the tech can hook up the other 2 tvs with the holes already there and if not then just have the internet with the digital box split off of that...cant i just split it myself and run the cable to the other 2 rooms? Hell, after all this I still have to pay $117, and reschedule AGAIN! and all they offered me cuz of all the probs. was 1 free month of my internet which is only $28!! i lost more than that missing work!!!! any suggestions? sorry for this story being so long, but its true and its how it happened! the reason i went with cable is cuz satellite wants u to buy the equipment now, $150 for each tv plus $30 amonth! ridiculous no, not mediacom, never heard of that. do you live in a bright house? cuz i dont right now!

A: OK i hate to say this but i own a company that does cable for a living, this is the installer dicking you around i have been in the business for over 20 years and this is the way it works you call and order the service they put in a work order that goes to the first idiot that has nothing to do,these people are usually ex cons that you normally wouldn't even let your home,when he arrives he sizes up the job if he doesn't fill like doing it he will come up with a line of crap to put you off,if i was you i would could the fucking company back and complain on this lazy piece of shit i have never heard of all these so called permission slips and i have personally worked on the system back 3-4 years when hurricane hit .good luck and dont take any crap off this asshole
