Q: I am thinking of applying, but I want to know what I am getting into first. For the people who work there, is it difficult to complete your required tasks? Is your pay good? A: I do not want Go Cubs Go to misinform you or discourage you. At, Sonic -They do NOT do the roller skating carhop anymore. Yes, you still park & order over the intercom BUT your food is brought out to you by a carhop who walks out with their own 2 feet (no skates). I have never worked at Sonic but I happen to work near a Sonic, so I go there every couple of months. I see the same employees (very pleasant employees) everytime I go. In the restaurant industry - keeping the same employees usually means happy employees. I say go ahead & apply. You may enjoy it. They will probably focus on making sure you are customer service oriented and can work well with others.
