What are the laws on private after hours clubs in FL/Orange County/Orlando city?

Q: How would one go about opening a private after hours club in Orlando?

A: If you club is opened after 2:00 am, you may not serve alcohol after that time. Here is a way to work around that - there is a law that allows customers to BYOB - of course there are limits & restrictions to this law. The best thing would be to decide is you plan to open this club in Orlando City Limits or Unincorporated Orange County - there are different regulations & permits with each governance. I would contact both (see links below) to start contacting the correct people to help you with permitting & zoning. In general - It would be easier if you did not serve food & only served beer & wine vs. a full bar. http://www.cityoforlando.net/ http://www.orangecountyfl.net/cms/default.htm Best of luck.
