Starbucks help!?

Q: ok yesterday i went to a 2nd interveiw and the manager asked me a few questions and how i felt bout things..and i said "thats just part of the job"...then he told me to come in monday at 12 wearin the starbucks dress code..and that its my 1st day...am i officially hired?...dont they need paper work( and all that blah blah blah)

A: You're hired, but you are right--there will be paperwork. Starbucks has an extensive training program (2 or 3 weeks' worth, if I recall), and the paperwork will be taken care of during your training period. You have a ton of stuff to learn, like how to describe the tastes of different kinds of coffee, the right way to make the drinks, and all sorts of other stuff. And keep in mind that you will probably earn only minimum wage until the training period is over. After that you get your regular pay. Congratulations! And make mine a Venti Cafe Americano with vanilla syrup. :-)
