Q: I live in houston tx & I wanted to get a chunk of TEAK WOOD to make My own canddle Box ?! Weird I know But I wanted to try it =D Does anyone where could I buy that type of wood "fresh"
A: Southeast Asia.. =D Thailand has good teak.. if you want fresher, go to burma/myanmar.. they'll chop the whole tree down for ya.. they got jungle full of teak trees. but to find fresh teak in america... no idea.. maybe impossible to get... =( good luck though.. Teak is one of the hardest wood on earth.. Only wood that termites can't eat.. so have fun making ur candle box.. at least you'll know termite can't destroy your candle box..
