Q: I APLLIED FOR GREEN CARD MY CASE IS PENDING I HAVE GED AND IM OVER 18 YEARS OLD I HAVE WORK AUTORISATION AND SOCIAL SECURITY CAN I WORK IN USPS
A: Sorry, no. In order to work for the US Postal Service, you must either be a citizen or have your Green Card as a permanent resident. The USPS Web site says the following: "Individuals solely granted asylum status, refugee status or conditional permanent resident status are not eligible for Postal Service employment." Click here for more information: http://www.usps.com/employment/employrequirements.htm I know this is not the answer you wanted, but I hope it is helpful. Once your Green Card is approved, you can get a job with the USPS. Good luck!!
