Q: Has anyone started their own company for families looking for a nanny? There are 5+ in my area but I'm moving about 3 hours away and there isn't one at all. The area is growing and I think after years of experience as a nanny and now as a mom I'd be great at it. I just need the tools and knowledge of how to get started. Any advice tips? I'm in CA if that matters.
A: sounds like a good idea, file for your dba and business license, and contact a insurance company to obtain the insurance you need liability and a bond for your business.....if you do not have the funds to do this i would start baby sitting in your home, then to a day care that way you could stay at home with your child...
