Q: I did some work for a client just before the holidays last year. Somehow the check was misplaced and recently discovered. I haven't spoken to the client in a while and was wondering if I still have the right to cash the check at such a late date (nine months later). What if the client says no.
A: ask the bank teller if there is sufficient funds in that account to cash it or ask the person who gave it to you if its ok
