Q: I am aspiring to be an auto mechanic and have some questions. 1. I want to work for a dealership because I here they make more $. Is there a difference in pay from say, Chevorlet dealer mechanic to a BMW dealer mechanic????? 2. I have been hearing that schools like wyotech and UTI isn't worth the money so I am going to go to a community college, is it still possible to get into the BMW STEP program? 3. What specialty in Automotive is the best pay. I have been thinking Transmission specialist because that always cost people at lest a couple grand. What is the best paying Specialty? I live in Sacramento, California, so if anyone who lives around here could give me advice to a good school to go to that would be great. Would prefer people who have gone down this road or know for sure. thank you for all your answers!
