Q: I asked this question this morning, but got no answers. :( Any info would be greatly appreciated! I need information on a birth certificate amendment that was mailed a year ago (they say it takes 7 months to process). I've been trying to call them for sooooo long, but can't get ahold of a real person. You can't go into any office or fax or email questions. You can only call between 8am -12pm M-F and when you finally get through the automated system to the place you need to be, most times the lines are so busy you just get a busy signal, or the automated voice says call back later and then you get disconnected (you can't wait on the phone for the next available representative or leave a message). It's so annoying!! Can anyone tell me how to talk to a real person?
A: The state of California is billions of dollars over budget. Cuts are being made left and right. Frustrating as it seems you may just have to wait.
