Q: I am a director at a large preschool (80 kids) and I am doing research on fundraisers. Any one have any suggestions on which ones turn out the most profit?
A: Years ago I rented a movie theater for our kindergarten classes. The movie house supplied the cartoon reel and the kids thought it was cool to be there with all their friends. Secretly the parents enjoyed it the most. Many movie theaters rent their space and give big discounts to local schools. We made quite a profit from it at only $5 a ticket. You could even ask if you could sell your own bags of popcorn and cotton candy.
