Q: I want to help folks with helping their elderly in their homes, house keeping, shopping things like that, but I do not want to go thru an agency, I just want to reach people who live around me that I am available in a private basis, I thought about fliers and business cards, leave them in their mail boxes, I wish I could reach them on the net, but I don't know how to set up my own web page. Any Ideas? I don't want to set up a big business or any thing I just want to earn a few dollars in walking distance from my house, and thought it would be a good way to meet people. Has anyone done anything like this, what was the outcome for you?
A: My son made flyers and went door to door and put them on the doorknob wrapped in a rubber band. He had quite a business going on last summer. This year a little girl who used to hang around him has his business, but he's moved up to a job at the local mall.
