Q: My son's b-day party is this weekend, It's pirate themed. my husband and I are looking for candy to put in a little chest that he is gonna bury and have the kids use a map to find it and dig it up. We want to find some chocolate coins, candy necklaces etc. We are actually in New Braunfels so North/East side of San Antonio would be great. Thanks!
A: I know they sell them at Party City for sure. (Hopefully it won't be too hot so that the chocolate coins will melt!) There is a place downtown called Todeaux (I'm no sure how it's spelled but it's pronounced "To Do's") and they have very inexpensive candy! There is also Creative Chocolates on Basse that makes custom chocolate coins which would be cute favors for guests!
