Q: I am celebrating my birthday feb 23rd. I want to celebrate my bday with all my close friends before we hit up the bars... where is a good place to go (besides basic dining) that minors can get in to (bc some of my friends arent of age). I want somewhere fun, hip, live or just music period, and food.... help me out! (pref. on the northside please..sonterra, stone oak area)
A: You might want to try Jack's Patio Bar & Grill at 2950 Thousand Oaks just east of 281. There aren't a lot of fun, hip, live music places out here in Stone Oak/Sonterra...we're more the Volvo, Mercedes and Jaguar set. I think Silo is very nice, but it is more the Martini and expensive dinner place to go, and not the take a young group of people out type place. Have a great birthday!
