Q: I can do a simple google search but there are so many results it is overwhelming. Is there someplace that I can get information that is more condensed or does anyone have any ideas? My mother is looking for a place that can take my grandmother for 1-2 weeks at a time off and on. In other words, not permanent just as needed.
A: Many places accept cleints for short-term visits. The Texas Dept. of Human Services inspects long term care facilities, and posts their scores on line. I don't have a URL, but you should be able to find it through a Google search of "TX. Dept. of Human Services," or "long term care homes in TX," or such. I can tell you one NOT to use: Alamo Heights.
