Q: you honestly think the American Red Cross is a good organization to donate money to? I heard they had a lawsuit a while back ago due to committing fraud on their donations. can someone please let me know? I wanted to donate but wasnt positive if I should....
A: I have worked for the Red Cross for almost 10 years in the U.S. I have never heard anything about any law suit or fraud with the company. In the U.S. we have a federal office called the Better Business Bureau. You can look up any business and see what is deal with them and if they are worth supporting. You might try that. There are lots of other organizations that you can donate to so don't feel you have to stick with just the Red Cross.
