Q: I'm looking to purchase a couch and loveseat where you have to assemble them yourself. I heard it's cheaper if you do it that way so I'm looking to save myself some money. Anyone know of a place in the San Diego area?
A: Ikea is a good choice if you like the modern look, and the scandinavian furniture stores in Mira Mesa also have very reasonably priced sofas that require some assembly. The whole area along Miramar Blvd has a lot of furniture stores so if you have an afternoon to spend, just do some shopping there and see what you like. Start near I-15 and work towards I-805.
