Q: He has a guarantee that seems too good to be true... I was just wondering if anyone had the scoop? http://www.mattbattiata.com/
A: I saw the same ad in San Diego when my parents had a home already on the market, and I wondered about it to. I did some preliminary checking to see how many of their listings were at a comparrible price to others in the area, and then looked at their closed sales to see if they got the prices they were asking for. The folk's house sold, so we didn't go this route. But I didn't see any problems with what Battiata was doing from either their asking price or the sales price. If you want to get the real scoop, why not give this real estate agent a call - Jeanne Lopez with Windermere Reals estate. Her agent listing shows she USED to work with Battiata, but hasn't for 4 years. Her take in the sitution would be interesting.(http://www.windermere.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=agentOffice.AgentDetail&agentMetauser_ID=141667) And post what you find out as an additional comment - others may well want to know what you find out too.
