Q: My boyfriend just got a job offer in Seattle. We are thinking about moving there and are planning to make a trip out there soon. In your opinion, what are the best/worst things about living in Seattle?
A: I've lived in the Seattle area all my life. There is a vaste amount of creative and fun art, The Entertainment Music Project ( E.M.P.), Pacific Science Center, we have two Imax theaters here ( note; there are only three in the world!), great food, great musicians, fun summer time events..like Bumpershoot, Bite of Seattle, etc., New Years Eve at the Space Needle. The people are friendly and down to earth for the most part, we do have a lot of interesting, colorful personalities. We also have beautiful country and scenery. The worst part is definatly the taxes. We have one of the highest taxes in the nation on gas, alcohol & tobacco. We have terrible traffic, there is always road construction going on. Pretty cool place to live.
