Q: hey i just moved here and would like to have a formal dress altered, i found 2 places online (georgetown tailors and cleaners and georgetown formal wear) but i haven't heard anything about either...any suggestions or other places i could go nearby?
A: There's a dry cleaners around the block from the Georgetown Library on Wisconsin Ave that I have had many clothes tailored.I lost a lot of weight and had suits taken it and altered. I can't think of the name of it but there is also a tailor/ and wedding gown place in the same block. Between those 3 places thatt's you best bet. (It's near Jennifer convertibles). The names you listed sound familar. I found that place when I was working in that area.
